If only those Anti-Mormons who attack the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints over the building of the City Creek Mall would actually read my previous blogs on the matter. The other day another friend of mine commented on the City Creek Mall, and I really appreciate him for sharing his thoughts. Thank you Lincoln Sorenson.
Here is what Lincoln has to say on the City Creek Mall:
“Very interesting article. Well written. I’m doing an internship with the Church of Jesus Christ right now specifically involved in IT Infrastructure Temple support and from what I have seen it is expensive to operate the Church throughout the world. It makes sense that the Church invests heavily in various investments to help fund the spreading of the gospel throughout the world. It would be very difficult to do all the good that the Church does with limited amounts of money (even though Tithing provides a great income to operate the Church). The parable of the talents in Matthew 25 also is evidence that a person should be making more of what’s been given. I think the Church follows this well. All of this is just my opinion of course, but it does take a lot of money to run a Church that operates with 16 million + members globally, let alone gives generously to help the poor and needy. “
